Here's the problem with political debate, I'm discovering. The problem is that most people start out with the idea that they need to somehow change my mind, in order to have a positive result.

( And I'm afraid I just don't see it that way )

So I've been reading a lot of fic lately. Half because I am choosing to read it for Children of Time, a fourth because the reviews make me want to read them, and another fourth because they pop up on my flist and I can't NOT read them. And I've been thinking. Which led to some thinky-thoughts.
